A multi-cloud strategy enables a company to choose cloud vendors to better balance performance, costs, and data protection concerns. This helps them gain much-needed flexibility. The multi-cloud strategy enabled by SAP HANA Cloud means customers have the freedom to deploy on their vendor or vendors of choice. Now, SAP HANA Cloud Private Cloud Edition is now available on AliCloud. AliCloud joins hyperscalers Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services on the list of cloud vendors supported by SAP HANA Cloud.
These multi-cloud capabilities align with our "develop once, deploy everywhere" idea. You can run different applications on different vendors and switch vendors later if you decide to. You can find more detailed deployment information in SAP HANA Cloud on Alibaba Cloud on SAP Help Portal.
